She was predeceased by: her spouse Russell Barton; and her sister Helen Boissonneault-Van Valkenburg. She is survived by: her children, Louise Freker (David), Bruce Van Valkenburg of Taunton and Brenda Van Valkenburg of Pembroke, NH.; her grandson Nickolas Demake (Mellissa Yokell); her great grandchildren, Evander and Harrison Demake; and her brothers, Charles Van Valkenburg, Earle Van Valkenburg and Frederick Van Valkenburg. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
