He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Podgur and Bernice Eaton; his children, Richard Podgur of Concord, MA, Jennifer Burt (Eric) of Dover, MA and Lisa Podgur (Christopher Biggin) of Austin, TX; his stepgrandchildren, Nicole, Betsy, Brooks and Emily; his sister-in-law Mary Ann Podgur of Nashua, NH; and his brother Donald L. Podgur. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association in Newton, MA.
