She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband George A. Gheorghiou; her children, Mathew Gheorghiou (late Sofia Eleftheriadou) of Arlington and Alexandros Gheorghiou; and her grandchildren, Kiriaki, Elpitha and Alexandros Gheorghiou. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church (25 Bigelow Ave, Watertown, MA 02472). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery (70 Medford St, Arlington, MA 02474).

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church.
