He was predeceased by: his sibling Jerome Smith. He is survived by: his spouse Carol A. (Butler) of Arlington; his children, Anne McGrail (Edward) of Weymouth, Amy Carroll (John) of Wilmington, Caitlin Smith (Paul Warkentin) of Arlington and John Thomas Smith, III; his wife Becky of Brunswick, ME.; and his siblings, Phyllis Smith, Judith Smith, Eugene Smith and Mary Smith. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
