It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Miano of Arlington, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Miano to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Romeo, Albert, Juliet, Frank, Joseph, Anthony and Virginia; and his parents, Otto Miano and Rose Miano (Cicala).
He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie Miano (Salipante); his children, Jack Miano (Denise) of Tewksbury, Mark Miano of Woburn, Cynthia Pessinis (Karl) of Newbury and Stephen Miano of Arlington; his grandsons, David Miano (Jamie), Nicholas Miano, Anthony Miano, Luke Pessinis (Brooke), Mark Pessinis and Matthew Pessinis; his great grandchild Molly Miano; and his sister Mary DiClemente of Cambridge. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the DeVito Funeral Home (1145 Massachusetts Ave, Arlington, MA 02476). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Saint Agnes Church (32 Medford St, Arlington, MA 02474). A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Saint Paul Cemetery (30 Broadway, Arlington, MA 02474).
