She was predeceased by: her parents, Merton W. Gibbs and Louise M. (Wolfe); her sister Patricia L. MacMillan (late Malcolm); her friend Dot; her nephews, Kevin Anderson and Michael MacMillan; and her niece Nadine Bannister.
She is survived by: her brother James Gibbs (Cathy); her friend Ted Anderson of Arlington; her cousins, Donna Ferguson and Boo Ford; her son John Ford; her great-nieces, Anna Gibbs (FL) and Karen; her great-nephew John Tanguay; and also, Nicole, Patrick (Billerica), Robin MacMillan (Wilmington), Colin MacMillan, Cheryl Anderson (Billerica), Keith, Pam Anderson, Timothy (Quincy), Kristen, John Butler, Cassidy (Hanover), Kerri, Vin Figueroa, Emily, Sarah, Jake (Groton), Kerry Anderson, Kailey and Connor (TX). She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
As she always said, "It's not goodbye, it's see you later" While practicing social distancing and wearing a mask, relatives & friends are invited to attend a visitation at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut Street, ARLINGTON on Saturday, March 27th from 10AM-12 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501St.
