He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Brooks and James Brooks. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley K. Brooks (DeLong); his children, James E. Brooks III of Arlington, Deborah E. Brooks of Haverhill and Tracey A. Brooks of Arlington; his grandchildren, Miles P. Brooks of Arlington and Kameron Brooksmoore of Haverhill; his son Eric P. Higgins; his daughter-in-law Laurie Moore; and his sister Sheila Lafford (Paul) of Shrewsbury.
There will be no services scheduled at this time, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the oncology unit at Lahey Clinic, 41 Mall Road, Burlington MA 01803.
