He was predeceased by: his siblings, James Ypsilantis and Katina Ypsilantis. He is survived by: his spouse Georgia Ypsilantis (Lempesis); his children, Nicholas H. Ypsilantis (Kathy), Evan H. Ypsilantis (Effie) and Mark H. Ypsilantis (Jane); his grandchildren, Christina, Alexander, Everett, Evan H., II, Luke, Petra and Caterina; and his sibling Evan N. Ypsilantis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the above named church.
