She was predeceased by: her parents, John Purdon and Helen Purdon; her spouse Francis Bassett; her children, Diane, Paul and Louis; and her sister Ann Soctomah.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Mitchell (Brenda) of Pleasant Point, ME, Michael Bassett (Michelle) of Billerica, Chris Bassett of Somerville and Gina Pedrini (Rick) of Medford; her brother John "Uncle Bub" Purdon of Chelmsford; and her grandchildren, Terran, Kyla, Leah Moore, Timothy Hogan, Keenan Bassett, Diane and Matthew Pedrini.
