He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Georgia Girdis; his children, Mariene Girdis and Dean Girdis (Susanne Leloup); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexei and Nathaniel Girdis; his brother Arthur Girdis; and his parents, John and Mary Girdis (Kiladis) of Alatsata. He was also cherished by many relatives and friends.
