It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emily Scalfati (Arlington, Massachusetts), born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 21, 2018, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Lindoro; her child Joseph P. Scalfati; and her sibling Irene Crowley. She is survived by: her children, Linda McMenimen (Joseph McMenimen) of Wilmington, Natalie Khoury (David Khoury) of Lexington and Julie Scalfati; her grandchildren, Christine McMenimen, Joseph McMenimen Jr, Jane Faccenda, Lisa Khoury and Marie Khoury Kilroy (Richard Kilroy); her great grandchildren, Hannah Kilroy and Brendan Kilroy; her siblings, Laura Ferraguto, Mary O'Donnell and Bella Ribeiro; and also Lindy.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute of Boston.
