He was predeceased by: his wife Mary McCarthy (Dustin); and his child Laureen Cobuccio (Michael) of Merrimack, NH.. He is survived by: his children, Patricia Lawton (Raymond) of Wakefield, Kevin McCarthy of Arlington, Coleen Ryan (William), Chelmsford and Sean McCarthy (Donna) of Merrimack, NH; and his pet Pepper. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and family members.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Mac to Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452.
