She was predeceased by: her parents, George Nicholas and Sarah Loise Buffington. She is survived by: her significant other Norman Garber; her son Nicholas Boit; and her grandsons, Nathaniel Boit, Jason Boit (Kaitlyn Lyngaas-Boit) and Henry Boit.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in her name to the Arlington Boys & Girls Club for which she was an active supporter during her life.
