He was predeceased by: his father Peter Winkler; and his brother David Winkler. He is survived by: his wife Regan; his daughters, Leah and Caroline; his mother Mary Golden Gonzales; his stepfather Tim Gonzales; and his siblings, Pete Winkler, Terry Winkler, Katy Blalock, Alice Wiesner, Beth Winkler and Hank Gonzales. He is also survived by cousins and in-laws.
