He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ahern and Mary Ahern; his siblings, Elizabeth Ahern, Barbara Orlowski and David Ahern; and his former wife Mary Ahern.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Worthen (Gary) of Port Charlotte, FL, China, Corine Szidat (David) of Westford, MA, Charles L. Ahern, Jr. of Westford, MA and Scott Holmes (Eileen) of Oak Bluffs, MA; his grandchildren, Scott, Kristi, Mike, Mary, Amanda, Taylor, Joe, Dylan and Brad; and his siblings, Claire Stanislawscyk of Pueblo West, Robert Ahern of Port Orange, FL, Phillip Ahern of Largo, FL and Dennis Ahern of Acton, MA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
