He was predeceased by: his wife Laura L. (Francis). He is survived by: his sons, Charles (Sandy) of Medford and Derek (Dawn) of Chelmsford; his grandchildren, Charlie, Alexandra, Manny and Max; and his brother Richard Carvalho (Mary Ann) of East Boston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
