She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kenneth Goepper and Rosemary Goepper (Brooks); her husband Anthony Aftuck; and her children, Scott Aftuck of Charlestown, Christine (James Hanson Jr.) of Medford and Lynne Aftuck of Arlington. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins and godchildren.
