He was predeceased by: his parent William John. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his parent Clara Canavan (Kirwan); his children, Kevin J. Canavan (Sheila), Patrick J. Canavan (Daniel McNeil) of Washington, DC, Jeane Marie Kuntz (Michael Kuntz) of Medford, NJ, Michael G. Canavan (Ann Hamel) of Bradford, VT, Kathleen C. Denny (Hugh Denny) of Everett, WA, James E. Canavan (Anita Hebert) of Windham, NH and William T. Canavan of Naples, FL.; and his siblings, Joseph G. Canavan (Winnie) of Toms River, NJ, Anne E. Tracy (Charles) of Arlington, TX, John Canavan (Vera) of Audubon, PA., Jane Cavanaugh, Mary Rita Foley of Tryon, NC, Margaret Regan of Augusta, GA and Bernadette Quinn of Pensacola, FL.. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by Jean Ann's sisters, Sister Jane Cavanaugh, Sister of Charity of Convent Station, NJ; Mary Rita Foley of Tryon, NC; Margaret Regan of Augusta, GA; and Bernadette Quinn of Pensacola, FL.
