He was predeceased by: his father Walter Lally; his sister Adeline J. "Addie" Thistle; and his nephew Edward S. Thistle. He is survived by: his sister Paula L. O'Brien of Haverhill; his brother-in-law Edward W. Thistle of Danvers; his nieces and nephews, Kimberly C. Lawson (Ronald), Erin L. O'Brien, Todd T. Thistle and Courtney J. Thistle; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Chloe, Piper, Jack, Tyler and Jake.
