It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph D. McCloskey (Andover, Massachusetts), born in Salem, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 27, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his spouse Mary N. McCloskey (Scandura); and his brothers, John "Jack" McCloskey, Robert McCloskey, James McCloskey and Donald McCloskey.

He is survived by: his sibling Marie McCloskey (McGrath); his children, Maureen Quinlan (Kerry) of Methuen, Allyson Fortune of Tyngsboro and Rick (Karen) of Andover; his cousin Marie Ward of Marblehead; and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Kaitlyn Quinlan, Alexander, Connor, Jack Fortune, Nicole, Lauren, Matthew McCloskey, Katharine, William and Julia Leland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
