He is survived by: his wife Joan M. Bartley; his children, Kathryn Richard of North Andover, Joseph Jr. of Lawrence, William (Karen) of Reading, Robert (Christine) of Bedford, NH and Christopher (Nicole) of Holden; his sister Joan Benjamin; his husband Rodger Benjamin; his parents, Francis Bartley and Catherine McCallion Bartley; and his nephew Gregory Benjamin. He is also survived by grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
