With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John J. Higgins (Andover, Massachusetts), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on March 23, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Higgins and Mary Higgins of Dorchester, MA.; and his wife Judith Higgins (Rafferty). He is survived by: his children, Mark, Kathy Higgins of Alexandria, VA, Susan, John Bailey of Winthrop, MA, Sean and Barbie Higgins of Andover, MA.; his grandchildren, Declan, Finn, Charlie, Devon, Owen and Wesley; and his brother Frank (Ellen) of Hingham, MA.. He is also survived by other parents and grandparents.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Robert Bellarmine Church (198 Haggetts Pond Rd, Andover, MA 01810). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
