It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Frederick Redman of Andover, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 14, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick Chegwhidden Redman and Ruth Hamilton Redman of North Andover; his wife Nancy Richardson; his son Chuck (Patti Fredette) of Chelsea, ME; his close friend Mary Mascola of North Andover; his children, George (Marilyn) of Waterville, ME and Betsie (Rob Bramhall) of Andover; his grandchildren, Henry, Sam, Julia, Sarah, Frank Redman, Hannah and Charlie Bramhall; his great grandchildren, Ella-Rose and Amelia Martin-Redman; his sister Janet Redman Hill of Birmingham, AL; and his pet Hinckley Bramhall. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
In order to observe COVID safety guidelines, the family will hold a private service of remembrance at West Parish Garden Cemetery, with a celebratory hike in the White Mountains to follow at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory would be gratefully accepted by the Appalachian Mountain Club or Alzheimer's Association.
