With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Edna M. Houde of Andover, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Edna left this world on January 24, 2025 at the age of 102, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Buote and Celina Buote (Myers); her husband Philip; her son Dennis Houde; her son-in-law William Sullivan; and her siblings, Ida Buote, Irene Somma, Theresa Smerdon, Rita Scanlon, Emil, Edward, Gerard, Joseph, Raymond and Leo Buote.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Sullivan of North Andover, Janice Almonte (David Rice) of Kansas and Lynne Davis (David) of Kansas; her granddaughters, Kelly Kawa (Yogi) of Middleboro, Colleen Avedikian (Daniel) of Westport, Robin Dowd (Donald) of Salem, NH, Sherri DeLucca (James) of Haverhill and Carolyn Kennedy of Kansas; her great grandchildren, Angela, Trevor, Nicholas, William, Emily, Donald Jr., Gianna and James III; and her great great grandchildren, Jayden and Addison. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home (233 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA 01844). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
