He is survived by: his father Bob; his spouses, Leah Jacobs and Judith Glaser; his son Aaron; his stepchildren, Noah (Catherine Popper), Rachael (Al Weisz), Seth Eckhouse (Catherine) and Bob; and his grandchildren, Anya Stern, Arin Stern of Madagascar, Michela Eckhouse, Eli Eckhouse of Lincoln, Henry Eckhouse of Newton, Maddox Weisz and Chava Weisz of Somerville.

The cause was complications of Alzheimer's disease.
