He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughters, Dana Hartung (Sam) of Haymarket, VA and Rhian Simon (Paul) of Columbus, OH; his granddaughter Kasey Stodola (Ben); his great grandchild Caden of Gainesville, VA; his grandson Justin Schneider of Centreville, VA; his stepgrandchildren, Alyssa Hartung of Herndon, VA and Michael Hartung of Leesburg, VA; his brother Raymond Kelley; and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Kelley of Old Saybrook, CT, Jeffrey Kelley of Nassau Bay, TX, Bruce, Allan Kelley of Reno, NV and Thea Kelley (Eric) of Corvallis, OR.
Intentional about his career choices, he then took a position at the University of Cincinnati Foundation (OH) from 1992-2004 which provided experience at a public university.
