“My dear Joanna, she will be greatly missed. I remember when she returned to Shutesbury from NY. I was a child but realized how important it was to my parents that her children would be brought up in the country. I loved the way she talked about cooking her holiday meals and told me she had her entire Thanksgiving meal in her cart for only $43.75, stating can you imagine that! A true jewel. Simply a woman, who did it all and then some. So sorry from the depths of my heart. Carla Footit”
