Carmella Scelsi Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carmella Scelsi (Amherst, Massachusetts), born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 7, 2018 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Antonio Polcaro; her husband Anthony D. Scelsi; and her siblings, Joseph J. Polcaro, David A. Polcaro, Sr and Rose C. Polcaro Litano.

She is survived by: her parent Teresa Santillo Polcaro; her son Joseph Maria Scelsi (Karin Abderhalden) of Ashfield, MA; her grandson Anthony Dominic Scelsi (Jennifer Pride Scelsi) of Greenfield, MA.; and her nephew David A. Polcaro, Jr (Rosalie Mangano Polcaro) of Pittsfield. She is also survived by numerous nieces, great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Fisher Home in Amherst in care of the funeral home.
