He is survived by: his wife Lesley Tavares (Abdulla); his children, Samuel and Celia; his mother Laurie Brickman-Rich; his parent-in-law Russell Rich; his father Victor Earl Tavares, Sr. (Tina Tavares); his siblings, Diane Genereux and Joshua Brickman (Kathy); his sisters-in-law, Rachel Sayer (Chris) and Nicole Prunier (Matt); his parents-in-law, Donna and Frederick Abdulla; his niece Juliet; and his nephews, Mason, Tyler and Jacob. He is also survived by many loving cousins, aunts, uncles, in-laws, and step-siblings.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Conte Funeral Home (193 High St, Newburyport, MA 01950). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (42 Green St, Newburyport, MA 01950). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at the Union Cemetery.
