She was predeceased by: her former spouse Esko Herranen; and her parents, Raisa Rehvonen and Onni Ruotsalainen. She is survived by: her husband Pavlos Shin; her pet Samwise; her children, Gabriel Shin of Oakland, CA, Raphael of Evanston, IL, Michael Shin of Evanston, IL and Mariamne Shin (Christofer Krueger) of Haverhill, MA; and her brothers, Pekka Ruotsalainen (Ulla) of Tampere, Seppo Ruotsalainen (Sulli) of Turku and Finland. She is also survived by extended family, and many dear friends.
