He was predeceased by: his sons, Lawrence (Ellen) and Robert Cummings; his grandson Joseph Cummings; and his sister Lorraine Steinhauser. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor B. Cummings (Walsh); his children, Deborah Lizotte (late Richard), Linda D'Agostino (late Richard), Richard Cummings (Sharon) of Marlborough, Kevin Cummings (Lisa) of Allston and Theresa Fitzgerald (Edward) of Weymouth; his grandchildren, Nicole, Julie, Paige, Matthew, Lauren, Shaun, Kyle, Buddy, Sammy and Joe; his great grandchild Baby Sophie; and his sibling Beverly Lacombe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
