Though John has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Colarusso and Pasqualine Colarusso; his stepfather Emilio Morello; and his siblings, Marion Giovino and Carmen Colarusso.
He is survived by: his sister Gemma J. Savarese; and also John. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lehman Reen McNamara Funeral Home (63 Chestnut Hill Ave, Brighton, MA 02135). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony Church (43 Holton St, Allston, MA 02134).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John may be made to the VA Boston HCS Palliative Care Voluntary Service which is located at 1400 VFW Parkway West Roxbury, MA 02132 or Good Shepherd Community Care at 160 Wells Ave Newton, MA 02459.
