George J. Arvanitis Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George J. Arvanitis of Allston, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 23, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Yiannis Arvanitis and Paraskevi Arvanitis (Karantonis); and his siblings, Evangelia Girginis (late Vangeli), Maria Agratellis (late Panayioti) and Stratis Arvanitis (late Demetra).

He is survived by: his wife Kleanthe Arvanitis (Giannikou); his children, John Arvanitis (Nopi) and Stratis Arvanitis (Maria); and his siblings, Panayioti Arvanitis (Popi) and Dimitris Arvanitis (Maria). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers , donations in his memory may be made to Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church.
