With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernard Devarney (Allston, Massachusetts), born in Colchester, Vermont, who passed away on April 11, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward DeVarney and Hermine DeVarney (Matte); and his siblings, Robert, Guy, Reginald, Donald, Yvette and Geraldine.

He is survived by: his children, Stephen (Tracy), Renee, Patricia (Mark) and Michelle (Gary); his grandchildren, Taylor, Morgan and Connor DeVarney; and his siblings, Anita, Claire and Thomas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Donations in Bernie's memory can be made to the UVM Children's Hospital Oncology Department, 111 Colchester Ave, Burlington Vermont, 05401.
