He was predeceased by: his parents, John Morassi and Rose Morassi (DeChristoforo); his wife Marilyn Morassi (Newton); his daughter-in-law Christine Morassi; and his siblings, Michael, Edward, Alfonse Morassi and Anna Krolicki.
He is survived by: his children, Salvatore J. Morassi, Jr. (Karen) of Southwick, John S. Morassi (Susan) of Feeding Hills, Frank M. Morassi of Agawam and Rose Marie Morassi of Feeding Hills; his grandsons, Nicholas, Samuel and Joseph Morassi; his brother John Morassi, Jr. (Rosalie) of Agawam; and his sister-in-law Bruna Morassi.
