It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert M. Whelan (Agawam, Massachusetts), who passed away on April 26, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother James Whelan, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sonia P. Whelan (Parton) of Agawam; his children, Timothy Whelan (Gwen) of Pelham, MA, Douglas Whelan of Vancouver, WA, Mark Whelan (Patricia) of Springfield, Robert Whelan, Jr. of Kingston, MA, Carol Clendenin (Bruce) of Waterford, VA, Lauranne Vukalovic (Andrija) of West Springfield and Meredith Whelan (Franklin Kirk) of Madison, WI; and his sister-in-law Ann Whelan of Chicago. He is also survived by grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made in Robert's memory to the charity of one's choice.
