We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2024, at the age of 78, Richard Mahar (Agawam, Massachusetts), born in Springfield, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Mahar and Pearl Mahar (Sherman); and his brothers, Gary Mahar and Fredrick "Freddy" Mahar. He is survived by: his wife Denise Mahar (Lefebvre) of Chicopee; his children, Sharon Martin (Christopher Martin) of West Springfield, Christine Fimbel (Thomas Fimbel) of Roanoke, VA, Edward Mahar (Robin Mahar) of Chicopee and David Mahar of Longmeadow; and his siblings, David Mahar of Chicopee and Kathleen Bauer of East Longmeadow. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
