He was predeceased by: his parents, Horatio Harnish and Dorothy Harnish (Nevel); his significant other Marion (Plante); his daughter Michele Harnish Toner; and his siblings, LeRoy Harnish, Violet Thuer, Ronald Harnish and Merl Harnish.
He is survived by: his children, James of Washington, Mark (Cheryl) of Florida and Marnie Gauthier (Lance); his siblings, Harry Harnish and Mildred Steele of Pennsylvina; his sons-in-law, Francis Asselin and Jeffrey Toner of South Carolina; and his grandchildren, Jamie Willoughby (Carrie) of Florida, Todd Asselin (Michelle) of New York, Monique Sherman (Anthony), Annette Harnish of Washington and Morgan Harnish Toner of South Carolina. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
