Muriel Thies Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Muriel Thies of Agawam, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 9, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward W. Soden and Anna G. Soden (Barden); her husband Richard W. Thies; her son Scott; her siblings, Edwin (Irene), Fred (Mary), Donald (Blanche), Ralph (Alice), Marie Soden and Ruby Hendricks (George); and her friends, Burt, Helen Rogers, Ralph and Eleanor King.
She is survived by: her children, Richard (Rose Thies) of Oxford, Samuel (Cathy Thies) of Agawam, Douglas (MaryJo Thies) of Agawam and Jana (Tony Forzano) of Ludlow; and her sister Bunny (Jim Caramazza) of Suffield. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and family friends.
