He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kamyk and Ludwika Kamyk (Roback); his wife Phyllis (Sieron); his son Jay Kamyk; and his siblings, Edward Kamyk and Helen Jakus.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Kamyk (Dina) of Westfield, David Kamyk (Lisa) of Worcester, Kevin Kamyk (Sherry) of Rutland Town, VT, Lisa Johnson (Bob) of Agawam and Mary Walker (Joseph) of Fairfax, VA; his grandchildren, Laura, Alexandra, Christine, Courtney, Hilary Kamyk, Bobby (Emily), Michael Johnson and Ian Walker; his great grandchild Levi; and his brother Walter Kamyk (Joan) of Agawam.
Memorial contributions will be used to sponsor a NICU Camera at Baystate Children's Hospital.
