He is survived by: his children, Frederick Blackwell of Linden, NJ and Sheronda Little of Springfield, MA; his granddaughter Sheridan Blackwell of Linden, NJ; and his sisters, Sarah Evelyn Gunn of Chicago, IL and Lula Gay Terrell of Chicago, IL.
