He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Plourde and Roseanna Plourde (Paradis); his wife Jacqueline M. Plourde (Savard); and his sisters, Emma Whitt, Louise Espling, Rita Phelan, Cecile Espling, Laura Sweeney and Regina Beaumier.

He is survived by: his son Patrick L. Plourde; and his siblings, Joseph Plourde of South Carolina, George Plourde of Oklahoma, Elizabeth Beaulieu of Caribou, Theresa Andrews of Woodlawn, Florence White of Westfield and AnnMarie Plourde (Plourde) of Agawam.
