It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen E. Walsh of Agawam, Massachusetts, born in Portland, Oregon, who passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Walsh; her father Hubert Moreau; and her brother Stephen Moreau. She is survived by: her children, Edmund Walsh of Springfield, Daniel Walsh of Springfield and Patricia Walsh of Springfield; her grandchildren, Isabella Eduardo, Justin Walsh, Mackenzie Walsh, Jayden Algarin, Jaykelis Algarin, Connor Walsh, Jayviana Algarin, Brady Walsh and Jaylee Algarin; her mother Eula Moreau of Springfield; her siblings, Tom Moreau of Arizona, Sandy Blais of East Longmeadow, Deanna Moreau of South Carolina and Michael Moreau (Ann-Marie Moreau) of Ludlow; and her brother-in-law Roland Stebbins of Ludlow.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Colonial Forastierie Funeral Home (985 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
