It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce A. Carestia of Agawam, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 16, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard and Mary A. Belliveau (Mallette); and her siblings, Richard Belliveau and Gloria Avery. She is survived by: her children, Gina Burrage (Fran), Michael Carestia (Manny) and Anthony Carestia (Nell); and her grandchildren, Nick Burrage, Josh Burrage, Andrew Burrage, Sophia Carestia, Gianna Carestia, Eliza Belle Carestia and Rory Carestia. She is also survived by many cousins and good friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Colonial Forastiere Funeral & Cremation (985 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
In lieu of flowers: donations may be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
