It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Modzelewski of Agawam, Massachusetts, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 22, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Modzelewski and Anna Modzelewski (Kalinko); his son Danny R. Modzelewski; his sisters, Patricia Hish and Mary Peters; and his parents-in-law, Norma and Dutch Werthamer.

He is survived by: his wife Donna V. Modzelewski (Werthamer); his children, Joseph E. (Jenni Modzelewski) of Feeding Hills and Karen L. (Douglas Carrier) of Agawam; his brother Edward (Nancy Modzelewski) of Agawam; and his grandchildren, Reid Carrier and Donna Carrier. He is also survived by his many friends, in-laws and nieces and nephews.
