Joseph Michael Manzi Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Michael Manzi (Agawam, Massachusetts), born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 7, 2021 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael L. Manzi and Phyllis N. Manzi (Goodrich). He is survived by: his significant other Kevin Freeman; his brother James Manzi; and his aunts and uncles, Ronald Goodrich (Kathy), Doug Goodrich, Martha Nulph, Roberta Sheltra and Dorothy Ingram (Donald).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made either the CAA Research Center or to Dakin Humane Society. Since 2017, Joe has suffered from Cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA), a rare and progressive brain disease, donations can be made in Joe's name to support Dr. Stephen Greenberg's CAA Research at Massachusetts General Hospital, by mail to the Mass General Development Office, 125 Nashua Street, Suite 540, Boston MA 02114.
