He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Poliwczak and Gertrude Walence; his significant other Carol Ann Geddis; his siblings, Chipper (Charles Jr.) and Charlene Murphy; his cousin Daniel S. Walence; and his nephew Jason Kie.
He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Jean Kie (Bruce) of League City, TX and Linda Mercier (Steve) of Agawam; his nieces and nephews, Kenneth Kie (Jennifer), Jeffrey Kie (Diana), Kristin Colburn (Christopher), Angela Paxson-Mercier (Erica) and Mariclaire Smith (George); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mikaela Kie, Aubrey Colburn, Amanda, Kevin Paxson, Warren Smith (Caitlin) and Dalton Smith; and his cousins, Stephen Walence (Tracy), Kayleigh Dones (Jose) and Nick Walence (Shivonne).
