He was predeceased by: his brothers, Mike Damato and Gary Damato; and his parents, Minnie Jabotte and John Damato. He is survived by: his significant other Pam Lapenna; his siblings, Rick "Hap" Damato and Sandra Damato; his sister-in-law Diane Damato; and his stepfather Billy Jabotte.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the TBD Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home (985 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Polish American Club (140 Wilson Ave, Newington, CT 06111). A burial was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
