It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Kwiat of Agawam, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Joanne is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joanne's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Angela Buravich (Nellie) and Joseph Buravich; and her sister Marion Marten. She is survived by: her husband Larry; her sister Helena Malinowski of Grand Rapids, MI; and also Joanne. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colonial Forastiere Funeral & Cremation (985 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
