She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Parkinson Hanson and Clayton Hanson; her husband Claude J. Ayotte; her grandchildren, Lieutenant Travis J. Fuller and Amy Rose Ayotte MacDonald; her brothers, Ralph Edward Hanson, Robert Hanson, Paul Hanson and David Hanson; and her son-in-law Joseph Leonard Rowe.
She is survived by: her children, Richard J. Ayotte (Dorene Hutchins Ayotte), Patrick Ayotte (Lynne J. Lally), Claudia J. Smigelski (Anthony J. Smigelski), Joanne E. Fuller (David Fuller), Roger C. Ayotte (Laura Gomes Ayotte) and Janice C. Rowe; and her siblings, Mary Hanson Foster, John Hanson of Springfield and William Hanson of Dewey Beach. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren 5 great great grandchildren.
Jean Elizabeth (nee Hanson) Ayotte was born in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada in 1924, the daughter of Margaret Parkinson Hanson and Clayton Hanson.
